Kevin MacLean was born December 11th, 1952 in Chicago Illinois.  When he was two years old he moved to Gainesville Florida.   Kevin loved growing up in Gainesville.  Kevin was 15 years old when he got his first job in the University of Florida mail room.  The oddest job he ever had was working on a 165 acre horse farm building and installing fences. 

       

 Kevin currently lives in New Port Richey Florida with his wife Jeanene, their children Sean and Tiffani and their dog Chipper.  Kevin and his wife have been married for almost 18 years and are actively involved in their children’s activities.  Their son Sean is 16 years old and plays varsity baseball for Gulf High School.  He is also playing Little League and AAU baseball which keeps Kevin and his wife very busy.  Their daughter Tiffani is 13 and has been involved in many different activities over the years.  Her current interest is joining the swim team at the recreation center.  His wife Jeanene is the Branch Administrative Manager at a financial planning firm in Lutz.

 

Kevin has attended Life Point Christian Church for over 11 years.  He is actively involved in his church activities and outreach.  Kevin’s wife sings and plays guitar with the praise team.  Kevin’s kids attend youth group and have also helped with ministries in the youth group and Kevin is an Elder of the church.  Kevin’s favorite book is The Bible.  He spends a lot of time reading his bible for various reasons, but the main reason is to grow spiritually in character and knowledge.  His favorite scripture is Romans 7:15-25.

 

Kevin graduated high school in 1971.  In 1972 he attended community college where he finally attained his Emergency Medical Technician License after 3 years.  Kevin worked for Century Ambulance in Jacksonville both as a transporter first, then in dispatch.  When he moved to New Port Richey Kevin worked for Stretcher Limo as a transporter and also marketed for the company.  In 2002 he started working for Med Fleet as a marketing rep and transporter until asked to join the sister company Wheelchair Transport Service as a Marketing Manager in Pinellas County.  Since being employed with WTS he has attained a certificate for teaching a class to assisted living owners at St. Pete Jr. College.  Kevin is also certified to teach Sensitivity training, DART (Demand & Response Transportation) training, and Smith Systems Defensive Driving class.  Kevin has also earned many other certificates while in the restaurant business for over 18 years: Interactive Management (Certified Trainer), Targeted Selection Interviewing (Certified Trainer), Train the Trainer I and II, Management Advance Program, Effective Speaking & Human Relations (Dale Carnegie Courses)
