Born
in Bogota Colombia, Juan moved to New York City at the age of 5
with his parents Juan and Blanca Sastre. After 2 years their
family relocated to Clearwater Florida where Juan graduated from
Clearwater High School and Married Cynthia A. Blue his high
school sweetheart. They have 3 wonderful sons.
Juan started in the transportation industry 1n 1994 at Wheelchair Transport Service as a driver and worked his way up through the ranks to dispatch supervisor. Juan left Wheelchair Transport Service in 1997 to start a career in the property and casualty insurance industry where he worked successfully for 14 years before coming back to work at Wheelchair Transport Service. Juan once again started as an Independent Contract Driver and after 7 months, was promoted to Communication Manager. Juan brings17 years of customer service experience to Wheelchair Transport Service which has proven to be an asset to the call center he currently oversees by increasing on-time performance by 10% utilizing technology.
Current hobbies include being active in the Palm Harbor High School football boosters and High School Football’s Chain Gang Program. I also enjoy playing golf with my kids and taking them to the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s home football games.
