Bud Williams

Bud WilliamsBud brings over 25 years of experience in specialized and disabled transportation service. Bud currently serves as the Vice President of Wheelchair Transport Service. He also brings experience as an owner since 1993 of Medfleet, an ambulance company providing basic life support and stretcher services in Pasco County.

Since joining WTS in 1981, he has served in the capacity of driver, dispatcher, marketing representative, accounts receivable clerk, and customer relations specialist. Prior to joining Wheelchair Transport Services, Inc., he completed three (3) years of Liberal Arts study at Eastern Michigan University.

Bud grew up in the ground transportation industry, first helping the company grow from 9 vehicles to the current fleet of 72. He then helped to establish Wheelchair Transport Service to become a leader and innovator in the disabled transportation industry. Bud’s duties include the supervision of key personnel, management of the marketing staff, and development of company growth through contract sales and institutional customers.

Bud is married and has three daughters and a son. He is an avid athlete who participates in running nationally sponsored marathons. He lives in Pinellas County, is active in his church, and participates in fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and the Suncoast Hospice. Bud also sits on the board of Directors of the Bay Area Commuter Service. He is proud of Wheelchair Transport Services’ contribution to the welfare of the disabled clients who live on the West Coast of Florida.
